Parenting with Positive Discipline

Positive parenting is a style of parenting that is catching more and more attention as a better way of "disciplining" or "pre-disciplining" our child.  A more prevention focused way of parenting than reaction focused. 

Dr. Joan Durrant was one of my professors while I was doing my undergraduate degree. She has a solid position on positive parenting techniques.  Here are two clips of her discussing her book on positive discipline.  Portions of the document can be downloaded here.
